For one reason or another, you have been led to this blog. Welcome. We hope what we offer here will satisfy your inquiry for information. We're not professionals or experts. We don't have all the answers or even some. But we care about plight of homeless citizens in Vallejo and we believe that the city of Vallejo needs to come together, leaders AND citizens, to effectively assess and produce real solutions.
Simply stated, the purpose for which this blog was created was to offer relevant information about Vallejo's homeless citizens. We don't claim to be the definitive or even an original source of info but we hope to gather, glean and share as quickly and constructively as we can.
The circumstances under which this was created was/is the impending eviction of homeless citizens in the White Slough in the marshlands off of Sonoma Blvd. We seek to inform, organize, and mobilize on behalf of our homeless citizens.
Who are we? A random collection of concerned citizens, community organizers, youth, volunteers, Christ-followers, artisans, ragamuffins, ordinary radicals, and storytellers. We are you. We are the community. We are all sojourning in this city, this land, and this Earth. We.
